Prentice Goods founded The Houston Launch Pad in 1998, as a Homeless Shelter for men, located in Southeast Houston. The primary purpose of this facility was to provide a save haven for homeless men, many of whom are recovering from substance abuse. The program has evolved to add Job Development/Placement and Basic Computer Skills training.

The Houston Launch Pad's goal is to bridge the gap for individuals, while they rebuild and enhance their lives. We at THLP continually assess the needs of our clients and provide them with quality, custom, professional and dedicated services that will empower them to "take control of their lives".
